This Memorial Day I am following tradition: car shopping. We pulled into an independent used car lot with one right across the street. This lot had mostly used Teslas and the one across the street looked to be about 60% used Teslas.

After Mozilla’s last screw up, I dumped Firefox and in haste switched over to Chromium thinking I’d switch to some full-featured browser later. Later has not come, and I have not noticed.

What is it Chrome and those other browsers give you? I can’t tell.

I just switched from using the Mastodon app to Metatext for my iPhone. It works much better. Too bad the project is now dead. I hope the Feditext fork best wishes in taking over the project.

The Northern Virginia Linux Users Group (NoVaLUG)

We are a curious, informal, and friendly mix of IT professionals, hobbyists, students, and others with an interest in Linux, Free and Open Source software, and open knowledge. The Northern Virginia Linux Users Group (NoVaLUG) is the oldest LUG in the Northern VA area and likely in the whole of US, established in 1993.

Obtaining an Account

Accounts on this server are limited to members of NoVaLUG. To get an invite link, you must do one of the following:

  1. Ask for a link at one of our meetings.
  2. Send a message on our mailing list asking for a link.
  3. Request an invite link in our Signal chat group.

Service Information
