Linux Desktop Increases, Windows Fans Not Coping

On August 5, ZDNET reported that Linux desktop market share had jumped to 10%, according to StatCounter and corroborated with data from CloudFlare.

Windows fanbois went into overdrive trying to disprove attempting to disprove the claim. But while the numbers may fluctuate, there is no doubting the trend… Linux desktop usage is on the rise.

Now it appears that the numbers are surging as high as 22%. Those are fluctuations, but it confirms the trend that Linux desktop usage has increased significantly lately.
