My project this weekend was to build two patio side tables. However, I wanted to use only wood left over from previous projects, the plans were important, which meant I needed CAD. But uh… I literally forgot all the CAD stuff I learned 2 years ago. Hey, FreeCAD has an MCP server, let’s get AI to do it. I spent all day Saturday prompting qwen3.8 and did get a plan… with no dimensions. I would not recommend this path. Tables are built, btw.
